The human need to prove themselves capable of taming the nature is shown through a man who brings a wolf cub into his home and to his family. In this short story, writer Skender Kulenovic, depicts, line by line, how wolf Zelenko (Greeny) acts and reacts to human enforcement.
The wolf showcases contempt and indifference towards everything that does not belong to its world. It attacked its master while it was leashed; but when the master went to get the gun, the wolf got loose and ran away into rockery – where it belongs.
