212aWalking in the heat

During big heat walks should be reduced. If you cannot figure out at which time of the day you should walk your dog, when it is over 30 degrees celsius outside, start observing stray dogs. They lie down in shades from noon until evening. Instinct and nature tell them it is time to rest and this is why you shouldn't go for a walk as well. If it is really hot, take your dog for a walk early in the morning and late in the evening and bring a lot of water. Be cautious when the temperatures are high because the dog can overheat. If you are hot, so will our dog be. The heat is bad for its paw pads too. This is why it is better to walk on the grass. Concrete, especially asphalt, should be particularly avoided.

208aWalking in the rain and cold

Hardly any dog prefers rain, but many adore snow. Whether you will dress your dog, depends on mainly if it is genetically resistant to cold. Some take the cold harder, some easier. dressing it up or not, the walk must be active and without sitting dow and frequent stops, in order to keep the dog's body warm.
